I've been wearing the Zamberlan 226 Salathe Trek this Spring for Shed Hunting. For $231, they've been a great boot-soft, lightweight, extremely comfortable. I really like the Vibram Pepe Megagrip outsole. They're built like a boot but feel like a running shoe.
I highly recommend for early Spring adventures.

The Hardside Hydration/Swig Rig is now my best 'hydration gear'. Been using it all summer and will now be going with me on my hunts. No more leaks to worry about and can pour powdered supplements into the bottle. https://www.guidefitter.com/hardsidehydration
I crossed trails with this 80 year old 'Trail Savage', while climbing Mt. Baldy in the Wasatch Mountains. He told me he has been wearing Zamberlan boots for 20 years. An honest testimonial for bullet proof boots. https://www.guidefitter.com/zamberlan
Going into elk camp this weekend. Taking along a very important piece of gear. PEET Boot dryer. Zamberlan Boots-recommends using a PEET dryer as the ONLY way to dry their boots. I agree.#gearreview #huntingtrip
In Utah- Heading into elk camp for tomorrow morning opener. Wearing the Zamberlan Boots. Hydrating with Hardside Hydration 'Swig Rig'. Tracking the trail with onX Hunt Maps. Bringing the PEET Boot Dryers. All packed in my Eberlestock Backpack.
I've been using the Hardside Hydration system since last Spring. This product is proving to be the best piece of gear in my pack. No more foul tasting 'rubber water' or fear of leaks. Same bite and suck technology but used with a nalgene bottle.#gearreview #hunting
US Forest Service-trail crews, carved out some great rest stops along the Wasatch Great Western Trail. Purdy handy work with those chain saws.#huntingtrip
