Switch™ Cam 16

Long time to ship

I ordered the Switch Cam 16 from Wildgame Innovations, but it took much longer than expected to ship. The setup, though, was easy. On the first card, I found the camera takes very bad video during the dark--I couldn't see anything. The strap it comes with is solid and holds the camera securely.

SD Card Reader for Android™

Does not work with type c

The SD Card Reader for Android from Wildgame Innovations works fine, but it does not work with type C cards as advertised. It is a mini USB style plug. It will not work with a type C. Fifty percent of the price of an item for shipping is a ripoff also. I didn't catch that when I ordered.

ZeroTrace™ PureION™ Field Generator

Zerotrace scent control

My son and I used ZeroTrace PureION Field Generator from Wildgame Innovations on a hog hunt recently in North Carolina. We had several hogs downwind of us within 25 yards and never got winded. Of course, we also use other scent-control measures, such as washing our clothes, gear, and bodies before the hunt. My son uses it currently during our early urban archery deer season and has had deer within 10 yards of him downwind. I cannot be 100 percent sure if it works or not since we use it along with other scent-control measures--but I am sure it helps.

When the weather drops

I guess it's doing what it's suppose to do. I had deer come in but not within range of shooting. However when the weather dipped into the 30's it started acting up, shutting off and not coming on. I was previously leaving it in the truck, plugged in but off of course until ready for use. It's working now but I bring it in house until it's time to go hunting.
