I took my son to the Air Force recruiter today to finish his paperwork. He had enlisted in the Air Force Special Warfare program and had spent the last year swimming, running, and working out twice a day to get to where he is today. He signed a 6 year contract due to the length of his training. He flies to boot camp tomorrow morning. Proud Dad moment.Anthony Veloudas From a 20 year retired Air Force veteran, congratulations, make the most of your career and God speed! Bill Pyles Thank you young warrior for your service and commitment to America!! Another Rio taken with Kerley's. Even the guide has to get a chance to call one of these Gobblers in for himself ! Great season even though it took awhile for them to get rolling. My fiance took this picture of this huge barn owl in our front yard. He was perched there for awhile, he was scouting out some baby rabbits under our shed. We named him "scout" lol. Found the first spring beauty flowers of the year here in Montana. They are an important food source for bears in the Springs. They are also edible and have round roots that taste kind of like potatoes. I haven't eaten one yet because many of the ones out here in the Montana mountains have tiny roots. In the Eastern parts of the country they can get quite big.
