Live in the vicinity of northeastern Oregon, run to stay in hunt shape, and need a springtime challenge? (besides chasing gobblers) Check out the 3rd Annual Halfway Half Marathon and 10k on Sunday, May 5th. This is a great small-town race on a beautiful, challenging course. Also, it's a great cause. The proceeds go towards desperately needed improvements at the trac... Read more
My shotgun skills are a bit rusty, so no geese photos. However, snapped this while waiting for them. He had no clue I was there until I raised up my phone.
Christmas Eve 2023 steelhead drift. A long-standing tradition in our family(as long as the river cooperates). No catch today, but always an enjoyable experience!

Lee: Thanks for sharing this, you, your son,and other parents on here have helped restore some of my hope, displaced some of my dismay, and brought smiles to my face by seeing parenting done right. Thank you! Congratulations to your son and the photos from loading to harvest to butchering was the perfect spread.

Packing and double-checking gear. Five days and a wake-up until Oregon's archery elk opener. Finding it harder and harder to sleep!#huntingtrip #wildernesselk
Disappeared into the wilderness on a scouting trip this weekend. Archery seasons almost here! I was super excited before. Now, I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve. Can't wait!
